In baseball, West delaware is headed back to state, following a 2-0 win over Oelwein last night:

The Hawks have nevr lost a substate final:
West Delaware will play Cedar Rapids Xavier on Tuesday at noon at Principal park in Des Moines.
In softball, Western Dubuque suffered a first round 9 inning loss to Winterset 4-2. The Bobcats will now play at 1:00 today against Waverly Shell Rock. Win or lose, Western Dubuque will play at 1:00 on Friday.
