West Delaware Baseball Coach Mike Morrison says Centerville just kind of set the tone and took charge by getting that one run early in the game.
Even after an excellent season, Morrison says unfortunately that's just how the game of baseball goes sometimes.
Six seniors played their last game of high school ball Friday...Morrison says they've played a big role on this team.
The West Delaware Hawks finish the season at 39-4, the best record of any team in this year's Class 3A State Tournament.
